“My Sacred Heart” – a solo performance work written, performed and designed by Warren Sulatycky.

Early one morning a man, faced perhaps with his last day alive, asks the question what is Sacred in life?

“My Sacred Heart” deals with themes of memory, the shifting nature of love, and the importance of personal sacredness. We each have our own deep place of meaning and identity, informed by family, childhood, love, loss and joys. But what happens to our sacred centers over the years, and how does one connect or reconnect with truth in self when faced with mortality?

"My Sacred Heart" was developed and first presented at the Artscape Gibralter Point Centre for the Arts, during a summer residency, 2016. It will continue further workshop development, and touring presentations in collaboration with supporting companies.
